Andreas Hecht is responsible for developing and managing INRIX’s business with automotive manufacturers and their suppliers worldwide. He is focused on helping automotive customers leverage INRIX traffic information and connected driving services to improve navigation for the world’s 1 billion drivers. His intense customer focus and drive for innovation will greatly benefit customer solutions and INRIX’s products. He is credited with introducing “industry firsts” such as “lifetime map updates”.
Previously, Andreas was the Co-Founder and General Partner at Spot It Out – a LBS provider of travel guide information for mobile apps and GPS-enabled devices. Before co-founding Spot It Out, he held the position of Executive Vice President of Digital Products and Services at Rand McNally. Prior to that, Andreas was President of NAVIGON North America, leader in GPS navigation technology. At NAVIGON, Andreas launched the brand into the consumer electronics market and quickly grew the company to become a market share leader in North America. Andreas also spent more than 10 years at NAVTEQ where he was GM of Professional Services working across the company’s technical, product and business development teams to serve the company’s Automotive OEM customers.
Andreas is fluent in German, Portuguese and English. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Technical University in Berlin. Andreas lives with his family in Chicago, Illinois.
