Daniel is currently the Global Head of Internet of Things at Irdeto. He joined Irdeto in 2000 from university and has been in a wide range of sales, marketing, and business development roles over the years. Having been through digitalization in the media industry over the past 15 years, Daniel brings key insights and experiences on security issues in a connected World.
Between 2012 and 2015 Daniel took a break from Irdeto and served as the EVP of Sales and Marketing at KIT Digital Asia Pacific, when KIT was restructured to Piksel he held the position of SVP Commercial EMEA/APAC, and prior to re-joining Irdeto he was VP Global Sales and International Datacasting.
Daniel holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Linkoping’s University in Political Science and Sociology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
Daniel is a Swedish national but brings an international perspective on things having lived and worked in Canada, The Netherlands, South Korea, United Kingdom and China.
