Patricia Valderrama is an advocate on the Climate and Clean Energy team for the national environmental non-profit organization Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Her advocacy promotes renewable energy, clean transportation, and carbon mitigation policies in the Western region of the U.S., especially Nevada.
She holds a PhD from Stanford University, where she studied environmental philosophy and literature. This summer, she went on a 1,600-mile EV road trip across the Midwest, where she learned firsthand about home, work, and commercial charging availability and challenges in urban, suburban, and rural areas.
