Peter Schwarzenbauer

Peter Schwarzenbauer, 57, has more than 30 years of international experience with premium automotive brands, including BMW, Porsche and Audi, in Germany and abroad. He began his professional career at BMW AG in 1984, in various sales and marketing capacities. After leaving the company in 2004, he pursued a number of managerial positions within the automotive industry at both national and international level, including President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Inc. In 2008, he was appointed to the Board of Management of Audi AG, being responsible for sales and marketing. Four years ago, he returned to the BMW Group as member of the Board of Management. Peter Schwarzenbauer is responsible for MINI, Rolls-Royce, BMW Motorrad, Customer Engagement and Digital Business Innovation BMW Group. Schwarzenbauer relishes the challenge of his latest area of responsibility: “I have one of the best jobs in the automotive industry. The breadth is what makes it so attractive to me.”
