How It Works

AutoMobility LA’s Top Ten Startups will be selected from the pool of applicants by a panel of judges comprised of top executives from Elektrobit, NVIDIA, Time Inc.’s The Drive, Porsche Consulting and Microsoft, as well as the LA Auto Show executive team. Previous finalists, such as Spatial.ai and HAAS Alert, have gone on to receive significant funding rounds after participating in the competition.

Once the Top Ten Startups have been selected, this team of esteemed jurors will narrow the list of ten down to three finalists and a grand prize winner. The winning startup will receive a live, on-stage advisor session with influencers in the technology and automotive industries on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 28. Advisors participating include Bill Tai, renowned Silicon Valley venture capitalist, Dr. Norman Firchau, President and CEO Porsche Consulting North America, and Jeff Henshaw, Program Manager Quantum Computing, Microsoft.

The top ten winners and top three finalists will be announced prior to the 2017 AutoMobility LA show, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center Nov. 27-30.
